The School Year Is Officially Underway!

The Omanson household marks the start of the school year not by the first day of school but by when Madelyn gets sick for the first time. This year we made it to October! Madelyn came home from school yesterday with a fever of 102.9. After spending the morning at the doctor we started our fall season off with a bang - - strep throat! You know you are becoming a pro when you know the medication and the dosage before the doctor even gives you the prescription. If only I could turn the medical expertise I have gained as a mother into a doctor's paycheck! I went to med school at the prestige school of hard knocks!
