A little over 11 months. Whew. While we were in the thick of it time seemed to crawl but looking back now it seems that time passed so quickly. Over the last year we welcomed the newest member of our family into the world, the kids grew another year older (Elliot and I did too for that matter) and so many other exciting and momentous occasions took place for our family. Sharing some of these occasions together via the interent or over the phone is never the optimal way. How we wished Elliot was here and how he longed to be sharing those precious moments with us. The beautiful part of being an Army family is truely cherishing the moments you do get to spend with one another. Never taking time for granted. We are so grateful to have gotten to welcome Elliot home EARLY this deployment! We have already dove into making more memories together as a family. Welcome home baby! Welcome home!
