A Very Merry Christmas It Was

It was quite the Christmas here at the Omanson household. The newest member of our family had her very first Christmas to celebrate and we were so lucky to have Elliot return home early enough to enjoy the holiday season here at home. Christmas Eve was filled with excitement and anticipation. We opened gifts from grammy and grandpy and aunt Em (per her orders). We tracked Santa via the internet, made cookies, read scriptures as a family and even got to play in the snow. Santa was very good to us this year. He managed to pack a trampoline (despite the frigid temperatures he managed to have it set up for the BIG Christmas morning surprise. The elves had to leave the enclosure for Elliot to put up at a later date due to the strong winds.), a skateboard, a DS game, a bumbo seat, and so much more into his sleigh. He even sent snow for us here is Texas to enjoy on Christmas Eve!! As always memories were made. Never a dull moment here and Christmas morning is most definetly not an exception to that. There are two moments that I will carry with me from today. The screaming that came from the kitchen when Madelyn realized there was a trampoline in the backyard and when Aiden marched into the kitchen with his new Spiderman Skateboard and rode across the room like he had been riding a skateboard for years and then hoped off, slammed his foot down on one end and popped the front end up, grabbed it and marched back into the living room to open more presents. A very merry Christmas it was for our family.
