Madelyn's elementary school is celebrating their 50th birthday this year. There are big celebrations in the works. Many of those celebrations will include prominent members of the community to be in attendance. Madelyn was one of 5 students chosen from her entire school to go out into the community and meet with these people (the mayor, city council, etc etc) and pass out invitations to the events. When we got wind of this we of course were sharing in what we thought was Madelyn's excitement for this honor only to find out her real excitement was to get to go on another field trip! :) We are so proud of Madelyn. She never ceases to amaze us. She is a great example to her younger siblings and to other kids her age. To many more honors and for Madelyn's sake to many more field trips! Here here!
